Bagels by Belle is the creation of Lexy Laughhunn.  As a young girl, her grandfather called her his little Southern Belle.  The nickname stuck, and as an adult, it was shortened to Belle.

Belle has always had an affinity for baking but found a passion for bagels when a friendly competition emerged with a colleague.  After making the bagels and receiving positive reviews from the judges, she continued experimenting with different flavors.  A few weeks later, Bagels by Belle was born.
